My God! I feel so bad for the people in Florida affected by another hurricane this year. I know some people who were born in Florida, and aren't old enough to live on their own yet, and some can't simply can't afford to relocate from Florida, but hurricanes are my biggest fear of moving to Florida which is why as much as I like that state, I'm not going there, at least not to live. I did go for for a visit there back in September 2022, but thankfully got out in time literally 4 days before hurricane Ian struck. I'm not happy living here in Illinois, but despite the bi-polar temperatures, and political corruption here, at least it's not hurricane-prone.
Hurricane Nicole never hit Florida. It was only a Tropical Storm. There are no confirming "hurricane" winds.

You guys seem to be running out of names for these storms out there, live in an Rv, then you can run faster, without losing all your belongings, just a suggestion.
For my fellow Americans in Florida, I suggest start living in Rv’s, Nicoles are hard hitters that’s for sure. Your problem is you have forgotten that forces of Nature are much stronger then your little girl egos, keep voting Republican, the ocean is not your friend. It doesn’t like dumb republicans I guess, you are not his friend so he is not your friend, it’s only fair.

I'd love to own a home on the beach in FL but down there it's just a bad idea. The beach is nature's buffer and when you build on it you have to expect these kinda things
