Hurricane Ian hit like an atom bomb
Consuming the helpless in it's path.
The waters of the deep surged forth
Flooding everything with it's wrath.
The best of the brave was seen by man
While rescue crews were helping others.
They risked their life and laid it on the line
To save our sisters and brothers.
May heaven show mercy upon the lost
Never to love, laugh, sing or cry

Florida took the brunt of ian to save its neighboring states. Based on an assessment of on-site foreign reporters, Ian has done no deadly severe damage to Florida as seen in many previous atlantic cat 3 or above in which hurricane proofed structures were ripped off and blown away their bases with debris everywhere while the daytime sky turned into night time. Many local media have dramatized Ian with 80ft waves or higher? without any proof, just fault colors on the map. Strutures, buildings are still standing tall to Ian, and no electric pole was knocked except the elec was cut off due to the flimsy services in wet weather that people can see in the nation's capital under a regular storm.
The media are getting hyped but Ian was more than a cat 3 or less at its survival lucky for landfall. So far people see floods and floods as expected… No fatality report in cat 4 hurricane?
