I think scientists know more about the impending eruption but are not saying much so as not to scare people
Unfortunately Grindavik will likely become the new Centralia.
I would never leave my pet behind
JEEEEEEEE-Zeus is coming back.

ANOTHER LAND GRAB LIKE MAUI
This will hit their tourist industry.
I suspect that we have a case of microplate movement. This explaines the multiple earthquakes and also that we don't have an eruption of lave. The Lava is present but may not be under pressure. This microplate is wedged between the American and European plates. This also explains why the eruptions at Fagradalsfjall are non explosive in character. The lava oozes out. As Reykjaness is at the edge of the microplate, Reykjaness peninnsula is moving up and down. Compare it to an iceberg in the water that is melting and gravity makes the iceberg move until parts of the iceberg begin to crack. In this comparison, water is the lava. You get a few splashes. Every 700 years or so, the microplate readjusts against the American and European plates. Because of the cracks in the ground, magma of the Atlantic Riftvalley travels upward. Most of the volcanoes on Iceland are around this microplate and thank their existence to the microplate. The microplate is like an iceberg. When the iceberg moves, water is displaced in different manners. Microplate shift in Iceland is like the microplate in California. Plate interaction is the best way to understand what is happening. The major volcanoes like Katla, Hekla, Askja and Bardarbunga each have a different plumbing. Reykjaness erupts in gentle manner because it just is the weight of the microplate that causes cracks and lavastreams to ooze out of the ground. The major volcanoes are fed more directly by the Atlantic riftvalley. There are too many signs that the magma is displaced quite quickly. I also expect major eruptions from around the microplate. In 1341 we see the eruption of Brennisteinsfjöll. It is a possible cause of St. Mary Magdalene’s flood 1342 in Central Europe und following bad years with Black Death to 1350 (Wikipedia). We see major eruptions of other volcanoes in Iceland in 1341, ending in 1362 with the biggest eruption of Oreifajokull, causing the Second Marcellus flood and subsequent volcanic winter from 1362 – 1372. the following 200 years we experience the mini iceage in Western Europe.
I’m also worried for The Elves – particularly when they are so busy before Christmas ❤
"Blazing hot, the molten rock, spills out over the land
And the lava's the lover who licks your boots away 👢🌋
For everyone who cares about their future and the fate of their loved ones, there will be a live broadcast "Global Crisis. The Responsibility" (international online forum) on December 2, at 17:00 GMT.
There will be vital and unique information.
Serious difficulties due to a significant increase in natural disasters will begin from 2024 worldwide. We need to end all conflicts and separations and unite all humanity for the single goal of survival. Only in a peaceful and safe Creative Society we will be able to solve problems with natural disasters.
Any moment the volcano can erupt and they would rather go back and save pets and belongings ……
They said a few days ago a few days ago 😑
The power station powers the towns of the Reykjanes peninsula, not the city of Reykjavík you silly man.
Svartsengi power plant (google it)
Im sorry if theres anybody who lived there
🐐💔🌎🙏🌋
Poor, inaccurate reporting.
They’ve had plenty of time to rescue their pets
Rom.10.13. Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Jesus is Lord, call now.
Ah…… the joys of building on an active volcanic area…..
You'd think that ABC News would learn how to pronounce the name of the town, but NO! ffs.

So, Is significant likelihood likelihood? When likelihood is not likelihood, then don't use likelihood. How about 80% (or whatever) possibility that volcano will erupt!
Exact quote: 0:15 "The volcano itself is in the plains behind me." That is a gross error. George, please; there ain't no volcano, and the people of Grinkavik hope there will not be an eruption, and the experts say there is a chance there will be no eruption.
building a wall around that power station…. yeah, thats not going to work
"the volcano itself is over there" says this irresponsible ABC reporter pointing toward some low hills. This is not a small mistake. THERE IS NO VOLCANO YET AND THERE IS A CHANCE THERE MAY NOT BE ONE. George, please talk to this guy.
