  1. Maybe she didn't want to be with her dad or maybe she did…..

  2. She was with her mom, I'm sure she was safe. Her mom cared about her enough to not want to loose custody of her. If she was abducted by a stranger then she would most likely be never found again, but luckily her mom had her & she's alive & well.

  3. my cousin was being abused by his stepmother. his mother took him away….u just never know

  4. Hopefully she's ok mentally

  5. Did they really think this child wasn’t “safe”? What her mother did was wrong and she should be punished for it the same way a father would be for taking his child.

  6. At least his was her mother. It could've been worse if it was a complete stranger.

  7. Lol…she was “abducted” by her mother! I’m
Pretty sure the child was fine. Don’t think so? 6 years later and she was “rescued”…GIVE HER BACK TO HER MOTHER!

  8. Yeah I hope the mother wasn't escaping a jersey with power.

  9. The last thing anyone will do is ask the child what she wants to do about the situation. i bet she now misses her mother.

  10. After all these years has anyone asked the Young lady what she wants? I see government coming and ruining lives because rules is rules, what's the fathers intentions? Is he just adamant to win or see his daughter happy???? she looks happy to me!

  11. CLOSE THE BORDERS SAVE AMERICA !

  12. I only hope the mum hasn’t done to much damage. We don’t know what stories she told Kayla about her father??? It’s good that she was 9yrs so she new her mother had taken her away from dad 😢😢

  13. It proves the mother was able to take care of her.

  14. How the heck can you kidnap your own freaking child? That makes absolutely zero sense. She may have violated a residence order, but that's not a kidnapping. That law is completely backwards.

The father is overjoyed, but what about Kayla. Does she not matter?

  15. How can you kidnap your own child that crazy give her back to the mother !!!

  16. I'll wait for the whole story. Sometimes this happens because of a domestic abuse type of case. We'll see

  17. I believe a child belongs with it's mother. She is the one who carries the child 9 months, she is the one nurturing the child and sitting at its bedside when it is I'll or had a bad dream. She is the one who sits and helps with homework, etc Only if a mother is abusive towards her child, should her child be taken care of by others.

  18. Only cause of Netflix they was able to find this little girl and it's so crazy to think about

  19. She looked happy, I imagine her to now be estranged & unhappy with this turn of events, which would be a shame if so.

  20. You spend more time hyping the media than you do on the story.

  21. When a mother take her child is not kidnap , her mother gave birth to her , and her mother love her child,. ❤i.

  22. This may be hard for Kayla, because she been with her mom for some time. Hope everything turns out ok for Kayla and father. 🙏🏿🙏🏿

  23. Thank God she's alive but shame on that mom

  24. What a sick and horrible mother. I feel so sorry for the girl.

  25. Something twlls me that Kayla wont be happy about this…

  26. Omg what an amazing story. I'm so happy for the little girl and her daddy.👏👏👏👏😁😁😁🎉🎉🎉

  27. Can’t make a judgment unless we know both parents of the whole situation. She was with her mom.

  28. What's next? No doubt the mother will plead not guilty and at trial will cry a lot. She will get a light sentence because there is a double standard. Probably will be released early too.

  29. She wasn't missing from her Mom.

  30. Her mother IS family.

  31. First of all, I'm so glad this young lady was found ALIVE because alot could have happened in six years! All parents have to do is work out a co-parenting schedule and love their children, instead of all the toxic stuff. Now a father has to get to know his daughter again and her mom is in jail. Sad situation. People need to be adult enough to understand you can go on with separate lives and mutually love & care for your children….not hurt them or keep them away from the other parent. Co-parenting is the best…if possible!!!!!

  32. I mean at 16. Can she emancipate herself? She may not want to go back to her dad. Not saying she doesn't but. As sad as this is. It really will come down to Kayla. In 24 months. She will be 18. This will really be interesting to see the outcome of how she can make it. Taking her away and sending her back to her dad.

  33. I want to hear the Mother's reasoning…why she broke the law. It is a miracle.

  34. Knew it was a relative when it said she was found after that long

  35. That poor kid. I wonder what lies the mother told her? Did she tell her that her father was dead, or that didn't want her? And now she's a teenager, a tough age for many kids anyway. Now she has to deal with her whole life being turned upside down. As happens far too often, kids are the victims of divorce.

  36. I am glad nothing happened to her. If I were the mother, I, too, would take my child!

  37. Unless her father got custody out of spite because he had more $$ for lawyers.

  38. Six years. Shes gonna hate dad

  39. Why do all reporters have that deep monotone voice?

  40. God will reveal the truth sooner or later thank you Lord
