If the person is a flight risk or a danger to the community they have to stay in jail until their trial, if not they get to go back to their job and family until their trial.
It works and works well, without punishing poor people who in many cases are innocent but forced to pay a fortune to bail bondsmen

Only time will tell…it's probably cuz your cops be lying on their reports and arresting people just cuz they don't like them… Then it takes two to five yrs before y'all do anything with their case… people got lives to live man. No cash bail is fine if you do it right. "No Cash Bail" should mean that you stay in jail until your court date. Isn't that just "common sense"?
