i don't like this because now if a person did something and he changed his life and but his old record shows then they wont release him, dont be judgmental about the person pass if he didnt commit a crime between 15-20 years

Illinois does not have bail bondsman they never have. I'm sure the Bondsman have lobbiest in other states, so stuff like this never see the light of day because it would put them out of business.

They already do this. The judge can just say no bail or raise it to 1M if you’re a flight risk

I think this makes the law more even. If you have money you can bail yourself out and go do another crime. Now the court can say we don’t care how much money you have, you have to stay in jail.
