Immigration records obtained by NBC News show that Congressman George Santos’ mother was not in the U.S. when 9/11 occurred. Santos’ campaign website previously claimed his mother was in the south tower of the World Trade Center when the “horrific events of that day unfolded.” NBC’s Ryan Nobles has the latest.

The clergyman collected an offering from the congregation that was turned over to Santos to help cover funeral costs.
About two weeks later, one of George's friends said George called him and told him that he'd rented a room in the Poconos and wanted to know if he knew anyone who wanted to go skiing.
George goes from saying he was unable to afford to bury his mother, to having money for a vacation two weeks later.
This guy has no shame. Of course he refuses to resign.
