  1. Funny thing is Joe root bowled more overs than runs he scored…

  2. I think England best batsman Root and stokes should play genuine test cricket and stabilise… let others play bazball… you can’t have all 11 batsmen play bazball…

  3. This has been a series of surprises. After yesterday I didn't expect Indian bowlers to come back especially with Ashwin not there but England will find soon bazball isn't that easy if you are overcommitted to it and the opposition is bowling lines like it is 50 over game

  4. Selfish Kohli is a venom in the Indian cricket. Giving more priority to the personal things more than country India. Foolish fans are going befind this selfish players. Do not make them role model, what will happen if a soldier request for a leave for whatever personal matters in the middle of the war.I have never seen the older generation cricketers taking leave for personal reasons, they also have families, children's……….

  5. Perhaps the obvious focus on Bazball and the very disappointing display this morning obscures the fact that the batting has probably outperformed against this India attack. In contrast the bowling in the last two tests in the first innings has conceded massive deficits. The England attack has never looked like producing the destructive spells by India this morning. The major difference between the teams is actually the bowling.

  6. Something that most commentators, even Indians are not highlighting and what is really remarkable about this Indian Team is that barring Rohit Sharma, there is no other experienced top order batter and yet they have managed to outbat England with its bazzball tactics and much more experienced batting line-up, at least till now. Ravindra Jadeja is really a handy bat and genuine allrounder but he is batting above his normal position to bail India out. And today Indian team really showed great character in the way they came back. It shows that there was lot of thinking that would have gone on yesterday as to how to proceed today. Yet it requires execution, discipline and the courage to take responsibility. Yesterday even though they had a bad day, as a fan I felt that Indian Team would definitely come back strongly, they would try very hard.

Over the last 6-7 years the Indian Test Team has really performed admirably. After the 2021 Test series in Australia, the fans have great belief in Team India. They always find a way to fight back. More than the win in Brisbane, the hard fought out draw, the Great Escape thanks to Vihari and Aswhin, such stuff are rare in annals of Test Cricket. The players have changed, the staff has changed, yet that spirit endures – it's so heart warming.

It's not that Bazball is bad strategy, only that it has met a worthy opponent.

  7. bazball is a marketing gimmick , does not work against strong teams.
