Upstream economy is more resilient to inflation than Middlestream and Downstream economy because its prosperity relies on its Quality-based competitive advantage instead of Price-based competitive advantage. So we need come together and accelerate the move of US towards Upstream economy. It means Identify key sectors that provide significant productivity growth gains. Well! you got me! I'm optimistic person by nature and always believe that we can reverse this situation.
I. Yes! they'll be a recession next year! But it does not mean that the FED fail. This is a real matter of complexity. II. What matters now is to avoid a financial crisis and fix the High-income trap in US.
Inflation hits people a lot harder than a crashing stock or housing market as it directly affects people's cost of living that people immediately feel the impact of. It's not surprising negative market sentiment is so high now. We really need help to survive in this Economy.
And the Millennials complain they cant afford a house ! I'm a Baby Boomer and spent 20 yrs USAF and kept working to last year at 62 with little education, went to Community College. I left Boeing and heard nothing but excuses about how it was easier for my generation BS!!. My answer was move to ND (where you can afford a house) and leave Seattle/Tacoma area.
That is sad…thank Biden.
Very well put; I wish I had more time for trial and error, but I'll be 56 in December and I need ideas and advice on what investments to make to prepare myself for retirement, especially with the impending inflation and recession; my objective is to have a portfolio of at least $500k at the age of 60.
A weak dollar can signal an economic downturn, making me to ponder on what are the best possible ways to hedge against inflation, and I've overheard people say inflation is a money-eater thus worried about my savings around $200k

S. economy as fear of inflation hammers the prices of stock;s and bonds. My portfolio of $250k is down to $192k any recommendations to scale up my returns during this crash will be highly appreciated.
Don’t worry the Fed is going to save you 😂
I appreciate your approach to teaching, to my understanding this just proves how much we need an edge as investors because playing the market like everyone else just isn't good enough. I was quite unsure about investing in this current market and at the same time I felt like it's the best time to get started. on the market.

You don’t have to be a fed governor to come up with that brilliant deduction. So I guess it is true that if we go from a inflationary spiral to a deflationary spiral ,I guess inflation will go away won’t it?
Inflation will never come down because Democrat politicians will never stop giving $Billions to foreigners and totally wasting $Trillions
Powell and Democrat politicians have intentionally destroyed the value of our money. Inflation is much higher than the official government reports. Inflation makes all the economic numbers go up, so politicians say there is not a recession; but millions of Americans cannot afford the basics that are necessary for a normal life.
Finally some REAL news on the economy.
We the people are in a recession today, yesterday and tomorrow just friggen admit it. It’s by biden administration design.
물가가 도대체 뭔데요?
People can't even afford a simple cremation these days.🔥
Isn't that great news!! We can thank all the democRAT voters for this mess!!
It's sort of like the pain in your head will subside as soon as you stop hitting it with a hammer. Thanks for the awesome forecast Carnac!
I’ve spent the last 13 years investing in dividend stocks and compounding the returns. It’s amazing what happens when compounding kicks in.
