Jodi Hildebrandt seems to be the chief agent of evil in this situation, and Ruby Franke became a victim who allowed herself to be manipulated into participating in the evil herself. Of course, children became the ultimate victims and one can only guess on the extent and duration of the damage done to them and whether or not it will be spread to other people in the future. With regard to accountability, evil people are experts at dodging blame by scapegoating the victims. They target people who are emotionally weak or who already have credibility issues to become their victims. Children are ready-made victims in that regard. That makes it easy to blame them for their own suffering and problems and for authorities to distrust victims' claims of abuse. In addition, evil people expend great effort into creating a public image of themselves being highly respectable, solid citizens, and upright, church-going members of society, which makes it even harder for victims to be believed.
The judge who denied warrants for this family should go to jail as well. That's disgusting 4 more years then they needed to go through hell
