I hope Roe vs. Wade doesn't get overturned. We gotten to point where it's needed in our society. You can't expect getting rid of abortion without consequence. It would be better to keep pro choice and better educate people about sex education. Banning abortion is the worst option. It's not only going affect the states, but potentially Canada as well. While not right away it will start negatively impacting society. More resources wiĺl be needed to provide for growing families and it become increasingly difficult to provided for them. Poverty will rise with domestic violence increasing as well. You can't simply ask women to not get pregnant or be a virgin till marriage to solve the problem. Men play a factor in this as well. You can't expect them to change to cooperate with stricter social norms to allow banned abortion society to work. There's a needed discussion about why women get abortions, and why it's isn't always about just getting rid of an unwanted pregnancy. Regardless women need to be supported, and one needs to recognize choices aren't always straight forward. Sometimes it's about choosing two of lesser evils. If abortion is banned, folks need to be more willing support women and willing to learn from mistakes they made. Men specially need to be aware of their sexual attitudes and how it affects them, women and society.
i just found out last week that as a man, i too can get pregnant. imma be pissed if they take my abortion rights away.
