I have electrified my ride 4 years ago and I am happy with it .
Gas prices are shooting up faster than Biden votes at 2 a.m.
Well that is the plan of the Biden administration. They think that if gas goes up people will buy electrical but how will they generate the added electricity to keep these cars charged up?
Glad that during this time it is causing rational people like this lady to finally make the switch so they can see for themselves just how much better and cheaper in the long run EVs are compared to gas cars. Because in the end everybody (including gas only car drivers) will all benefit as more of the population drive EVs since those new EV drivers will no longer fighting for the same gas resource that gas only drivers depend on. Don't put all of your eggs into one basket you know.
Once I see an ev last longer than 15 years without complete malfunction or destruction then I may think bout buying one …… they will prove to be unreliable and worse for the environment in the long run just wait and watch
Thats all well and good until your rate per unit skyrockets due to the energy crisis as its doing in the UK .

I've had mine for 4 years. I also have solar so I don't pay to charge it. Low maintenance. I save more money in gas each month than the payment. It just doesn't make sense for me to have a gas car. Especially now.

Battery replacements are thousands of dollars. Also having a charging station installed in your home will cost around the amount they give you in tax rebate. Thirdly, unless you have solar your electric bill will go up $100 per month . Where is the savings? The politicians are pushing this due to global warming, is why gas prices are going up ,but it will cost us much more in the long run. Bring gas prices back down to normal !!

Can someone please explain to me the mantaince cost that come with a gas car. I understand oil 150 dollars a year and that's having a shop do it 4 times. Everything thing else can be years between changes.
