According to reports, interim House Speaker Patrick McHenry threatened to resign after Republicans pushed him to bring legislation to the floor without an explicit vote to expand his powers. The republican party is still controlled by trump and that shows how cowardly the members are . donald trump is not qualified to be the president of anything and never has been . But a whole bunch of Americans are impressed with his ability to use the Jedi mind trick to distract them from questions he has no answers for . When he's asked about any American involvement abroad , he'll start talking about Hunter Biden and now Hunter Biden is the subject of discussion . The man doesn't know anything about the job , so he relies on our ignorance to get by . And it's pretty obvious that we aren't the smartest people in the world by a longshot . This is the only country that I know of where openly hate is accepted and considered free speech , if you are white . Where ExxonMobil , Shell Oil and British Petroleum are in control of what we know about the effects of the use of fossil fuels and I can go on . The American Constitution allows every American the absolute right to criticize , to think differently , to defend themselves , to vote according to their preference and so on . But whenever an American criticizes any American institution the Americans who don't have a clue about what being a free American means will see that as an attack on American and that is unfortunate . Speaker pro tempore: "meaning speaker for the time being."
That means that for the time being, McHenery is the official speaker of the House of Representatives up to and until the time the House of Representatives officially elects a replacement for the previous speaker. Which means that by the very rules of the House of Representatives, McHenery has all of the authority of the elected speaker and can conduct all of the business of the House of Representatives until such time as the house actually elects someone to officially be the elected speaker.
So the question now is, why is he not. There is zero reasons why he the House of Representatives can not conduct regular business while the republicans get their ducks in a row and can get someone they can all vote for. The problem, in my opinion, is that there are still too many DIPRs (democrat in practice republican) in the house and they want someone who will compromise with the democrats to help them continue moving the government away from the constitutional republic it is to a socialist dictatorship.

And yet McHenry felt 100% comfortable in passing an entirely unheard-of/unprecedented order – on his very first day!! – that took away the capitol offices of two of the Democratic party's highest-ranking Congressional members.
The solution is so simple – just 5 votes for Jeffries and House is back in business.
