We are more worried about the cost of gas and oil than about the long term affect’s to the ecosystem there . How much was the spill and how long did it leak before the spill ?
These spills are bound to keep happening. Tar sands oil is corrosive and wears down the pipes like sandpaper. It's irresponsible to even try and ship this kind of oil through a pipeline. The project never should have been approved. But on the bright side, I can't wait to try some of the cancerous corn they'll be growing in those fields next summer.
