A Boeing 737-800 with 132 people on board was 90 minutes into its flight from Kunming to Guangzhou when it suddenly went into a steep nose dive, plunging 21,000 feet in just over a minute. Boeing says it’s working with China Eastern Airlines and investigators.

I think that either one of the pilots attempted to crash the plane and pushed the yoke forward. Maybe the other pilot had trouble returning to the cockpit since it was nose down. the other pilot could've wrestled the controls and pull the plane out the nosedive but the other pilot continued to push forward into an uncontrolled dive

Another one bites the dust. The 737 was junk when it first flew. Instead of re-designing an obvious aerodynamic flaw Boeing added electronics to compensate. Because profit rules American aviation they keep using this failure of flight. These are the same firms selling obsolete aircraft to our military like the "stealth" bomber little Serbia dropped like a duck, apologizing for not knowing it was invisible. It would be great if the U.S. prosecuted criminals like the Boeing board members and threw them in prison with other conspiracy profiteers
my guess is the pilot purposely crashed it. For a moment the co-pilot may have wrestled the control away to level the plane but the captain took back control and crashed it.
