A new report claims DNA testing could be the source of these new people of interest in the case. NBC News has not independently verified the reports but a statement received from JonBenét’s father said there is new leadership at the Boulder Police Department and he is impressed with their commitment to finding his daughter’s murderer.

The mother still did it. The father wrote the ransom note. A Poster of speed was in the video room and in the ransom note it says “do not attempt to grow a brain” which is the same line used in the movie by Dennis Hoppers character.
The parents trafficked their own daughter. Quit asking the ssme stupid questions that have been asked for over 25 years. The media and police are playing dumb because they were clients/customers

I personally believe it was someone they know or knew and someone who had access to the crime scene.
Something was so suss about how this case was handled from the start ,by the police and coroner .The parents should never been aloud to wander about the house and removing the childs body from the original place she was found, this tamping with the body caused more problems.,and through focus on them as suspects ,which hinded the case .
Gary Oliva's friend tipped the police off to this years ago and they didn't follow up on it. Such a bungled case. I am glad they have new leadership in the Boulder Police Department. I have waited for the day we all finally know. God love Jonbenet's dad.

All you people who are still convicting the Family in the court of public opinion haven't been doing any recent research. Patsy, John, and I believe the son, have been officially ruled out, yrs ago. They found DNA on the poor Girl, but hadn't been able to find out who it belonged to, because the person wasn't in the system…yet.

This child would've just turned 33 this year, and quite possibly had children of her own at this stage of life. What could've been. The sooner the killer(s) is/are caught the better.

Lord why say you have a new lead and talk all this nonsense. That poor child was murder by someone who knew her personally. No one that’s stranger is going to write a note with their notebook and ask for a amount like the same of her father’s bonus. I think the police and investigators were paid off
