  1. Just drop a camera and a scoop for a dirt sample. I'll bet someone around there has a go pro and a fishing pole.

  2. Cases like this are hard to prove. My dad was a serial killer who killed child traffickers and molesters about 20 and 30 years ago and maybe even 40 years ago. I don't have names but only remember what some looked like and small details of ones I heard about.

  3. I almost got serial killed by the same guy twice. These freaks are out here. Be careful!

  4. Just now talking about it? Lock her up!!!

  5. It sounds like the police don't care about the victims.

  6. The sheriff seems to be very uncomfortable with the idea of proper investigation. Perhaps has some link to what went on with allegged murders or serial killings. Investigate his lying @#$ first.

  7. "There's no urgency." You can say that again!

  8. How long ago did the "suspect" die and why did woman wait so long to tell this? It a minor detail you think the reporter would ask.

  9. She's a loser why now after her dad died no one wants to hear you

  10. ?Did the Sherriff know this family?

  11. How insensitive there is no urgency…
    Woww

  12. Sounds like he is worried about the money part. I'm sure a few companies would gladly help dig it up if you show their trucks in the video

  13. Who knew Rick from Pawn Stars was now a sheriff in rural Iowa?

  14. He doesn't seem interested in this case , let the FBI take care of it .

  15. 50!!!!!!!!!!! Concerned about the polices response

  16. Translation: We ain't go do NOTHING!

  17. He doesn't have the money. So forget about it?

  18. I'm certain my father committed race crimes while attending USC in Los Angeles. His response when i asked him to talk about it was priceless. Now deseased.

  19. I hope when that cop watches himself back he feels ashamed …oh dear……. talking so non consequential – like awe well 70 people dead no big deal ??! and he is paid by the state to do his job!

  20. Dear Sheriff, if $200K is standing in the way of expediting this investigation and your county is poor, then start a GO FUND ME campaign. There are hundreds if not thousands of people who would contribute in order to resolve this case! Be creative and get cracking!!

  21. $300,000 for a chance to find answers equates to $6000 per victim…… If the leads are credible enough for an interview $300,000 is a bargain for 50 victims!

  22. They been knowing about these killings. They just didn't care because it wasn't anyone they knew

  23. Where's the FBI? Because this is a serious case..

  24. I can imagine they tried calling the feds but without evidence it’s only words of one person which cannot be corroborated so they need to actually pull up some remains to get the attention of the feds.

  25. Iowa woman is child of this deceased guy? Oh, a confession from an accomplice. Start identifying remains.

  26. Appears he won that badge at the county fair…

  27. Upwards of fifty women's bodies could be in that well and the sheriff doesn't think it's worth investigating because the alleged killer is dead. Fifty families wondering where their daughters, sisters, et al are might disagree, dude.

  28. Possibly the sheriff covering or in on this? Satanic ritual maybe? Republicans practicing population reduction?

  29. Probably a republican doing republican things like helping with population control.

  30. I bet if you had someone possibly buried there they would be digging up that well… Lazy, I know it will be work for forensics to sort it all out and will impede on your budget… It amazes me what Communities deem necessary 🧐

  31. I can’t trust him with that badge lol

  32. 300k to dig that BS. Was the well dig to china. 3k max

  33. When budget cuts on media training seemed like a wise idea at the time

  34. Sounds like a Dave Sparks kind of help!

  35. Typical. Unqualified people filling positions.

  36. … what an appalling response ! when you're dispassionate about your Job… time to move on and let someone else take over… someone who actually cares.

  37. YES IT DOES MATTER!!!! The families and loved ones of those deceased are still waiting for closure! WTF?!?!?!

  38. Love his pink badge !!!

  39. All them people in iowa are super weird. If you offended. Then your who im talking about.💯

  40. They have heard about a serial killer for years but they didnt do anything and now they are still just poking along . It doesnt matter that the potential killer is dead , the families of his victims deserve some kind of answer .

  41. Listening to the apathetic Sheriff, I’m guessing he was mates with the alleged serial killer.

  42. He has no clue on what to do
