Like these Iraniam-American women, I am in awe of what the girls and young women in Iran are doing, to protest the unnecessary death of a young woman who was taken into custody by the "Headscarf Police" and then ended up dead. For more than a month, these fearless young females have been in revolt. It's absolutely astonishing! They are taking off these hideous headscarves and burning them! Sheer courage! And aren't these Iranian-American women beautiful! So nice to see their faces. You can see why men are so afraid of them!
Sandra Bland, 28, a Black woman, dies in custody- arrested by TX police for refusing to put out a cigarette! Black women in America are subject to discrimination and they have been fighting for their rights for almost 400 years! Hypocrisy!
Indigenous women in Canada face discrimination/lack of access to education/health care. They have the highest rates of poverty and are subjected to violence! Hypocrisy!
Let's talk about the U.S.-backed Saudi war in Yemen which has created the world's worst humanitarian crisis! Women in Yemen are suffering! Hypocrisy!
Let's talk about the Muslim women in France. They have a right to wear hijab and they are banned to exercise their rights! The double standard is disgraceful!
