Nobody can become financially successful overnight. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. Fear is a dangerous component hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals. you have to contend with inflation, recession, decisions from the Feds and all. I was able to increase my portfolio by $260k in months. You have to seek for help in the right places.
Social Security is taxed, inflation is too high. Older retired Americans must get out to the work force to sustain their lives. Older generation actually uphold WORK ETHICS, happy to be out for a part-time job!
Inflation is going to gradually going to become part of us and due to the fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest decline in value each year. Investing is the only way to make your money grow and unless you have an exceptionally high income,investing is the only way most people ever make enough money to retire.

Yes it most certainly is. It is so very sad that many people worked invested and saved for 30 years or more only to have their retirement( 401k) devastated by high inflation. I now meet more people in their mid 60's and 70's who have to work a full time job again.

Inflation is giving me pause to rethink about reentering the work force… retirement isn't all what its made out to be.. having flexibly in my schedule would be enticing.. maybe a parttime gig is in my future.. I certainly wouldn't want to go back to a 9 to 5 even though the money is tempting.

Making them use up their 401K’S saving just to live. Housing costs has ruined this country for every one . Because democrats and Biden will pay all this money to take care of illegals, prices on housing has gone up and people from California and Blue cities are leaving selling their houses which are mor expensive then smaller towns and buying up and increasing rentals by about 30%. People don’t get raises to help because businesses are having to close. This can’t go on.

I'm a Gulf war veteran working 2 jobs 7 days a week to be able to feed and house my family. I struggle to buy food for my family yet I don't qualify for EBT food card because I'm a just over their income guidelines yet migrants and people who don't work can go buy prime rib and fresh seafood and just swipe an EBT card. Where is the help for veterans? Social Services don't exist for us.
