This touches a whole host of issues that make it far more complex than "leaking is bad". Overclassification is a massive issue, honest service of government officials is a huge problem and if you can't trust that the government is being honest to the voters, who's really in charge? Citizens can't control government if they don't know what's actually happening there. The ultimate issue is that there is, for good reason, zero trust in government.
Why do the leaks have to stop how bout the government OUR government stops breaking the law stops lying to it's citizens stops being a corrupt disgusting immoral entity how bout that stops.
