Other day, Gill was saying with confidence that he will get a ton in the next few games even though he missed out.
Reason I mention that is, Rutu started off his campaign getting a free-scoring 90+ against GT in the very first game and after that, yes he played well but not with his usual standard authority. If you analyse his overall scores and his SR, he has got you many 30s than converting those to 50+ . That has been the difference between Rutu vs Conway.
Personally I expected much more from Rutu, at least to finish up this season with 650 runs if not 700. Now is the real time for him to get a string of big scores before the play-offs and from the play-offs, it will be individual star performances which most likely will see us through and I hope Rutu gets one real big score in the play-offs also.
Make no doubt, Rutu is the right replacement for our HITMAN Rohit, the ease with which both of them execute their shots and time the ball π (is an absolute treat to watch)
Ruturaj is playing with better intent in powerplay,and that's really good considering the way he can smash in the middle oversπ₯
CSK are favourite but if they take this game lightly they will suffer. DC can surprise.
