Israeli ground offensive against Hamas expanding farther south in Gaza



Gazans are trying to escape Israel’s expanding ground offensive against Hamas as it extends further south. Israel says it’s warning Palestinian civilians where to go to avoid strikes, but Palestinians say nowhere feels safe. NBC News’ Richard Engel has the latest.

  1. I don't get it. Gazans usually celebrate when innocent civilians are killed. Have they run out of candy to give out?

  2. It is heart breaking. It is not the fault of the children but what can we do if their own parents scarify them?

    They had 3 days' notice to leave.

    Over 6 million messages were sent to their phones. Over 1 million phone calls. Over 1 million pamphlets.

    But some preferred to stay and become live shields for the terrorists hiding in the tunnels.

    These terrorists are usually their family members.

    We need to protect our own citizens. We already have 100 thousand of our own refugees. 1400 civilians were massacred. 240 hostages.
