They don't actually deny it raises taxes on everyone. In their twisted logic, the increase in government benefits offsets the increase in tax. The problem is that not everyone will qualify for the government benefits but everyone will have their taxes raised. And go figure, the wealthiest Americans will be the main people who can adjust their lives and spend the money that nets them the most benefits.
