What should you expect from any person elected to the Senate or House of Representatives? The first thing I expect is that they understand the Constitution and know how to apply its amendments to any situation. The second thing I expect is that they understand the issues facing voters and have some reasonable ideas about how to solve them. Smear campaigns or party loyalties are not noteworthy. If you do not understand and fully appreciate the meaning of the Constitution then you should not be voted into office.

Even if Republicans controlled the Senate by one or two seats it would be impossible to pass "Republican priorities". Besides the filibuster you would have a Biden veto. Republicans had -0- chance of gaining the legislative upper hand in this election. The best we could have ever hoped for was 2 years of gridlock. We got that.
