Notorious mafia boss Matteo Messina Denaro, Italy’s most wanted fugitive, was led out of a private medical clinic in the Sicilian capital of Palermo in handcuffs. NBC News’ Kelly Cobiella has more details on the arrest after Denaro eluded police for three decades.

Why do they think that he would talk now that he knows that he's dying ? Now the government can pick up his medical bill. He got to live the good part of his life as a free man. Now that he is old and sick; does it really matter if he is in prison, hospital or nursing home? He has no reason to confess to anyone other than a priest and no reason to help the police. Catching him now is rather pointless.
