As the mother of one, a son…I would be out of control. I'd hunt the entire ocean until I found my son. When she said to slow down & just listen, that was her spirit knowing the spirit she carried for 9 months. It's a bizarre mother/son connection.
I love this mother. She grabbed his knee while watching the video of his rescue – she must have been feeling it all over it again.

Just curious… for backpacking I have a GPS emergency beacon that will send my location to Search and Rescue in a major emergency.
Isn't there something similar for diving? Either to S&R or just to your partners on the boat?
