I hate to sound like a jerk, but……
Although possible (as the news lady suggested) odds are that the only thing wrong with that piece of equipment's safety features are that they are incapable of differentiating between a competent operator and a wealthy actor that believes he is capable of safely doing things that are not in his personal wheelhouse. Not much different than actors that use their fame and notoriety (as opposed to skill set, knowledge and experience) to get into politics, science, medicine and so on…….. Everyone, including myself, wishes him a speedy recovery.

Sorry to break it to y’all, but he’s fucked for life.
I do snow removal and have seen this accident play out more than once.
He will need a walking cain for years if not the rest of his life.
In regards to acting, he’s done, he won’t be able to do action scenes anymore.
I’m talking several surgeries to try to replace destroyed nerves and muscle tissue.
If it caught his vericose vein, he will get several inflammation incidents when they burst.
Not to mention the key aside from the neck, bleeds the most. So many vessels and veins and tendons.
The last accident I saw was a guy standing beside a squid steer, the operator didn’t clamp the bucket in, tried to lift some heavy shelving and the bucket snapped off, flew right into buddies leg shattering it, I’m taking turned the bone almost to powder.
They wanted to amputate but buddy refused, 7 surgeries later he has the help of a 3 prong walker to assist him for the rest of his life, he’s now on ash.
We live in a time when news sources report with what they got from TMZ. Ugh

I like Jeremy, I do, and I hope he gets better. But I am kinda shocked at all the buzz he's generating. There have been celebrities who died and it was just a quick story and then moved on, but Jeremy's story is everywhere and it doesn't even really sound that serious tbh…does he have a movie coming out? Is Hawkeye season 2 in the works? 🤷♂️
