The same people who try to tell women they should not have an abortion (when they are only getting rid of a fetus instead of a person). Are the same ones who condone people shooting up our schools and killing hundreds of children. Those who claim that all they have to do after killing is to say… Forgive me, Jesus! These preachers teach that your sins will all be washed away, but if it is a fetus, oh no!
These people do not care about killing, they only care about keeping women submissive to men. That is why they treat women like obedient dogs in their churches not allowing them to speak (preach) because they feel that men should control women. They feel that a man should tell a woman what to do and what she can do with her own body since he is the master of her body, not her.

The other thing which might be a thing i would imagine, is the seperation between state and church. Not sure how that is codified in US law or if it is just a guiding principle of sorts, but i would imagine this could be a lever, too.
