In an attempt to “clear” his name Johnny Depp took the stand to testify during his defamation trial against his former wife Amber Heard. Depp said, “Never did I myself reach the point of striking Mrs. Heard in any way nor have I ever struck any woman in my life.”

My brother suffered terrible abuse at the hands of his wife who would belittle him, and harm him. I was going to make a special trip to my hometown to see him. And my cousin asked me to stay away. She said that any time some of the family reaches out to him, he ends up in the hospital or Emergency Room. At my sister's funeral, I begged him to come home with me. He wouldn't come. He died from trauma to his head, which she said happened when he fell by not going through a dark house without turning on a light. I went to N. C. where my I, my brother and sister were planning his funeral service. We kept sending for his wife to come from next door. After about an hour, my brother goes to the house to see whether he could get her to come over. He came back alone, with a very stunned look on his face. He kept saying, "He's gone." My sister and I said, We know he's gone, that's why we're planning his service." His wife had instructed t he hospital to talk to no one but her. So we didn't have to power to stop the doctors from taking our brother off life support. She gave the okay. We had no idea that she had donated his body to Science until my brother came back from reaching out to our sister-in-law. They had picked our brother's body up earlier in the afternoon. When I saw the knife, Amber had given to Johnny as a birthday present, and the inscription, "Til death do us part." I felt like JD would have eventually lost his life to her, had he not left and finally divorced her. He is a very handsome man, who makes his money from his acting talent, creativity and his looks. And the fact that she kept damaging his face. . . JD needs to sleep with one eye open.

Such truth and honesty from this man. He is clearly just trying to clear his name as he has always been very private. She AH had an agenda from day one and that was to advance her career by being married to him. She couldn’t take it when he filed for divorce, and was clearly planning this all along. She preyed on his vulnerability, addictions etc. I have met him a few times and he is such a kind, gentle soul.
To everyone saying he’s talking too carefully and it makes him look suspicious: You do realize he is taking the stand for cross examination today? Not only has he always talked like this, but any misstep in wording can be used against him today. That’s just how trials work. You have to talk carefully whether your innocent or not.
