In Wilmington, California, Coach Jose Quezada devoted his life to pointing kids in the right direction. He also ran barbecue fundraisers to help families when someone had been killed.

He was a son, a husband, a father, a coach and a grill master. He was a trusted mentor, a faithful friend, a community member who defined what it means to be a part of a community. This is the story of the lesson he was trying to teach.
