Oooopsie! Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg got a private tour of Israel in 2018 that was paid for by an Israeli billionaire, Morris Kahn, who has had business before the court. Many other justices have taken questionable trips over the years, including weeklong trips paid for by big universities and law schools, some of which were not fully disclosed on their annual reports.

Judges shouldn't be allowed to accept gifts of any kind, also if the court allowed stuff like this at the time, that still doesn't excuse him for not recusing himself when Paul Singer's lawsuits came before the court. There was more than 1 case btw. Apparently Singer has had about ten cases in front of the Supreme Court. The one they're talking about is huge because Argentina was forced to pay him 2.4 billion.
If Thomas does not face any consequences, why even talk about bribes? Bribing the supreme court of the USA is fine, at least legally. You might face a little snubbing from the press, but other than that, you're good.
If Alito in his capacity as SCOTUS judges that he's doing well, who is to say otherwise? There is a sense of finality in the word 'supreme'.

Alito did not violate any supreme court ethics rules because the supreme court has no ethics rules. They are for sale to the highest bidders, the famous FREE SPEECH from the Citizens United case. Bribery is not a crime in the US as long as its given to members of the executive, legislative or judicial branches of government. Justice Thomas must be grinning like a possum sitting on a pile of garbage since Alito draw the attention away from him.
