I can’t wait for this whole story comes out. The Tuohy’s were multimillionaires when they took him. They did not need his money. He ends up marrying a cafeteria worker he met at Ole Miss. He did not have what it took to make it in the NFL for the long run. Some of us CAN make 30 million dollars last the rest of our lives. That’s hard to do when you’re accustomed to living like money is no object. His wife thought the Tuohy’s thought they were better than her. They did not. They were self made millionaires who tried to guide him so that he would never have to worry about money. They did not attend his huge lavish million dollar wedding. They recently decided to retire selling several of their franchises. They have plenty of money. Mrs Tuohy always worked, even though they didn’t need the money. Michael’s wife works hard spending his money. You do the math. It was a shake down. Shame on you Michael. You know in your heart, as well as your mind, how ALL this went down.
I like the subtext of the movie being how they're religious Republicans. Perfect.
The Tuohy's should have ended the conservatorship when he was 21.
They were just grifting someone who was legally not even a family member.
If they cared about him they should have really adopted him.
They exploited his emotional need for a family.

Here we are a full month after Michael Oher's petition and these "News" channels are still spreading disinformation (LYING) about what type of conservatorship this was. It NEVER allowed the Tuohys to control Michael Oher's finances. It was a "Conservatorship of Person "…. NOT a "Conservatorship of Estate ". There were never any assets linked to this farce of a conservatorship.
The bottom line is everybody loves Money. Certain individuals will kill, and burn bridges for it, put that in perspective. Damn shame what they done to him. I hope justice prevails for him, and he gets what he deserves.
