A Delaware judge has voided Elon Musk’s $56B Tesla pay package, saying that Tesla’s board of directors did not make a fair compensation plan. Musk posted a statement on X, saying “never incorporate. your company in the state of Delaware.”

The bias is obvious
Ridiculousness, the entire board should be replaced and Musk kicked to the curb as this is the height of greed and stupidity. The board is supposed to be neutral/objective acting in the best interest of the company and stockholders. They clearly are ineffective and ALL have been derelict in their duties…..The request is absurd as is the approval…..There is not a CEO on the planet that could justify a compensation of $1b much less $56B regardless of established targets being met.
Why are the news reporters posing questions? Report the info, facts. There have been interviews with Elon Musk who answered those questions that this news piece had asked.

Exactly 6 years ago, Elon musk agreed to the compensation package that a Delaware court just voided.
At the time, Tesla, $TSLA, was worth just $59 billion and Elon Musk made his compensation entirely performance based.
Here's the best part:
"If somehow magically he gets the company to $650 billion, he would collect $55 billion in compensation."
Less than 3 years later, Tesla hit a market cap of $650 billion.
Elon Musk bet on himself and he delivered.
Why is that being taken away from him?
This technology was in the same experimental phase in 2008 long before Elon Musk was anybody.
