It's a normal summer.
They make such a big deal of the heat, like it is a rare occurrence. Ummm , it’s summer time “ meteorologists .” I know you are told what to say and what to make so people are fearful. Totally dumb. Phoenix was over 110 years ago when I was there. So was Tucson🙄. ITS SUMMER!! Not “ lying climate change.” People need some common sense to buy what they need like air coolers and generators. They SHOULD KNOW. People where I live don’t prepare EVER. There are a few that are getting it to …. Prepare ahead of time. I just feel sorry for their kids because they don’t have the smarts to plan ahead and then the kids have to suffer ,when they don’t understand. But no dumb news. Quit spreading fear ABOUT ANYTHING. You do it because IT WORKS, right?
Nobody is denying the fact that carbon emissions are contributing/assisting in the warming of the planet and it certainly needs to be addressed. Perhaps arsonists should be more closely watched and stricter punishment applied for newcomers who commit such atrocities.
Overnight change and a drastic discontinuation of fossil fuels of which this country's economic survivability and Americans well being is dependent upon is certainly worth continued investigation.

But remember: global warming never existed. It would have all happened with or without mankind's actions. Right? Probably?
Whatever the case, IT'S HERE NOW. This could be the "acceleration of the fall" on the bell curve. By 2043, the normal "high" temperature may become unlivable. Mankind may need to "remain" indoors on such days or else risk death.
I've even had my back stick in Alberta.
