The headlines have gotten people very confused: "Consumer prices rose 8.5% in July" blared CNBC, and this article is no better. Look behind the numbers: excluding housing, prices on average went up 0.0% in July! The year-over-year rate is misleading in this context.

You don't need a PhD in economics to understand the consequences of year after year of government deficits spending, non-stopped printing of dollar, huge expenses wasted on military and weapons, insane foreign aids. Inflation is just a glimpse of what is coming: recession, chaos, protests, wars and final Amagedden. Weep for our children and their children. Their future is as dark as the total sun eclipse.
