I can only hope that the very next child or teen who states that an adult touched or said anything inappropriately would receive the same support by judge, media and/or jury. For anyone paying attention, it is a civil suit case allowed by the Adult Survivors Act passed only in New York State. Different rules than criminal trials; much lower requirement to convince jury. She won a monetary award here but he can still appeal. His lawyer showed up to court with no defense or client. Tacopina and Carroll will be lucky if either of them ever see a check.
