I worked in surgery for over 7 years and everyone in the OR knows that the masks people are wearing don't protect individuals from getting the virus. That mask keeps your spit to yourself. Droplets from your mouth are caught, very little by the mask. The mask partially keeps you from getting others sick, if you are sick. But, so does standing 6 feet apart and staying at home. This is just a clandestine measure to control people, but also to allow people who travel and don't want to be identified by AI in airports to do so. That is far more serious than the COVID issue.

There are three things that need to happen with this appeal to be justifiable:
1. The new ruling needs to explain why masks are needed for planes, when they are not mandated for cars, taxis, private buses, or ships.
2. The ruling needs to explain why the CDC has never required masks to be rated to NIOSH standards for filtration and/or respiration despite that being the standard that OSHA sets.
3. The ruling needs to explain what the end goal is here. Is the mask mandate dependent on the number of infection cases otherwise is this a new policy that will never end?
They just want to continue that fear mongering. Been 2 years. Get over it. If you want to wear a face diaper, go ahead. If you don't & want to breathe fresh air, nobody has a right to deny you that. Power hungry government.
