  5. This. This is what the oscars is about, all the power to you Ke Huy Quan. It makes me full of joy to see him so happy!

  6. Love this guy. He needs to have a comedy show on TV. Such a smiley, friendly positive guy. Congrats on his Oscar! Beautiful dress Lindsey!

  7. Taking a break in Hollywood is no call backs.

  8. Thought Jackie Chan was older

  9. His comeback story is amazing and Ke is very talented and resilient but please don't forget that he got a massive support system: his wife, his family, his friends (Goonies brother for example)… So please be kind to people around you and they will support you wholeheartedly especially in difficult times.

  10. After off these years, accent got worse??

  11. Growing up watching him in movies and TV (Head of the Class). Like he said, limited Asians in movies and TV, and not much an Asian immigrant can relate to growing up in the States.I remember googling him up several years ago, that he went to prestigious USC and saw him doing stunt work for Marvel movies and other projects in Hong Kong, did t know he was in tough situation with no roles and totally out of work…. And seeing him come back like this…. And still being so humble. Amazing !

  12. Wow I thought this was an interview after the Oscars. This interview truly shows he really is that grateful & nice! Congratulations to Ke Huy & wonderful interview, Kelley!!

  13. Wasnt he in Encino Man with Brendan Frasier aswell?? He was the tech nerdy guy?

  14. Oh my gosh! I would have NEVER recognized Lindsey Davis! She looks AMAZING! She looks like a Cinderella in gold! –
I think what the Academy did in re-thinking to consider true "Representation," to look outside the box to upon finally being inclusive to award all actors amidst the "Pool of "Diversity" in the film industry, is a huge shift. – Seeing Ke Huy's exuberance is a MUCH NEEDED breath of fresh air for the air waves as well as humbling mind set that this country needs to see, feel and embrace.

  15. One of the best acceptance speeches. From the heart.

Mark my words: our human life really flies by. We really have to try to use our time wisely. Hurry up to learn Buddhism or practice other authentic religions. Don't let your life go by.

"Even if we have lived for a hundred years, it is like a flash of light. In such a blink of an eye, there is nothing remarkable. Our life is like a bubble in this sea of bitterness. There is nothing to be nostalgic about, and nothing to be serious about." When your impermanence arrives, you have to let go of how much money you have and how beautiful your wife is. But the sin karma you have created in this life will follow you. Wherever you go, it will follow you wherever you go. place. When you go to heaven, it follows you to heaven; when you go to hell, it follows you to hell.” – Ven. Master Hsuan Hua
