Teaching liberals students to be intolerant seems like a bad idea. Teaching kids to be closed minded about opposing ideas is also a bad idea. Nobody is right about everything. Going to university was originally intended to open up the minds of students. Worse still is that students are being trained to support socialism, which has proven to fail everywhere and every time it was implemented. India & China tried it, but had to turn to capitalism to prosper. There are countless other examples of failed socialism. The professors are teaching our future leaders to implement a social order that will fail us.

In 1964, I couldn't cut the mustard at university. By 1988 I had my degree! Did I get smarter or … did the judgment level drop??? … and just think, this is 35 years after that comparison. When I went to (a mid-west "liberal") college the US President's were Ford and then Carter. Nobody I knew cared much for either of them. We never talked politics that much and the Vietnam war was over. Of course we all despised Nixon and no one identified as "Republican" but many of the folks I met in college (that live near me today) are some of the most down-to-earth politically conservative people I know. The "College experience" today is overloaded with misguided guided polarization and vitriol, no wonder these "graduates" can't find meaningful employment and are saddled with debt. Oh but King Joey has a solution for that…🤑

Socialist redistribution goes like this. $100M for the poor. $60M goes to 60 million poor people (so $1 each minus distribution costs and administration) and $40M goes to elites (a few dozen) for "important causes" to help the economy. I really grow bored with the turning of tables argument. There are plenty of "useful idiots" on both sides, I get it. Neither side can claim they are tolerant. Both sides are extremely intolerant for the most part. Which is part of the problem. nobody can agree to disagree. Nobody can have a calm debate. They always have to try to change the other persons mind or cancel that person out completely. It's disgusting.
College has definitely changed since way back when when I attended it. back in the 90s we enjoyed talking to people that had different beliefs, we're from different parts of the world, had totally different experiences than we had or whatever half. We didn't instantly hate somebody or instantly love somebody. We could disagree and still be friends. I loved college. But it's just not the same anymore on campus. It's really too bad because it could be a great experience for many people.

Social media, i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the like has been the worst thing for our culture. There's no accountability, anyone can say whatever they want be it true or false no matter the outcome. Things were easier albeit a little more uncomfortable when people had to talk face to face. It's easy to hide the behind mask when you don't have to prove your position.
You use terms that are nothing more then a description of children who have been raised to be sheep that follow the bell when they hear it chime. This is what the government wants from it's youth. Sheep follow and do not resist or question the bell ringer.
