If you were surprised about the Trump people under-performing then you obviously didn't check the limited hangout that gab, truth social, and rumble are. They're a bunch of hypocrites struggling to stay relevant in American politics because they decided to dump on everybody that voted them in power during 2016 instead of cleaning house. People aren't as stupid as you give them credit for. They know the difference between tweet support + rear guard propaganda, and actual actions. When you need to educate the public that you did something big while making sure that you can't be challenged on it's authenticity you didn't do anything.

We won’t know who wins tight control of congress but many Political pundits predicted a red wave in 2022 and they were 100% wrong. It’s as 50-50 as you can get. America is so polarized right now. Gosh, I wish we could go back to the good old days when we found common ground and worked together, but that was 40+ years ago so I ain’t holding my breath…

I think we need to come to terms with the fact that the abortion ban stance will always bring out the blue on election day. As long as we align with people who call women "murderers" and deny their right to control their own destinies, we will not have any red wave. Half the population are women, there are sisters out there, there are grandmothers that will not go back to a time when bans were in place and failed miserably, with women ending up in ER's regularly from desperate botched attempts.
Barret misled the population when she said Roe would not be changed before her confirmation. Lies do not sit well with people, either, and we can't hold our heads up high defending lies.
