Impact player effect will really come to effect only when you replace them against unused player. The rule should be made such that once a player takes part in a game as a batsman or bowler then they are not eligible. This will bring some spice to the game. Then they can even allow the foreign player to be tried.

Few things I have noticed quite closely about Virat in this ipl:
1.He has played fearlessly and at times carelessly in powerplay and most of those times he has got good results for him as well as team as he has played at a strike rate of 160+ in powerplay in most of the games.
2.He only has 1 real shot against spinners to attack after powerplay which is coming down the track and going straight or over long on but because he has got stumped out a few times in recent past in all formats so he is too afraid to play that shot which has made him even more weaker against spin.
3.Unlike his overall t20 career, he has not been able to kick on after getting past 50 in this ipl other than vs Mumbai so that is a big reason why his overall strike rate is not that good.
4.Whatever he may say, he does get extremely selfish from 40 to 50.
I like this show . Ravi is giving his calm , honest and optimistic opinions . Raunak is also doing well .

Kohli has to increase his strike rate, on a decent batting track when you have strike rate of 125 – 130, its not going to be a match winning innings, considering that he opens and plays in powerplay
