Propaganda for the brain dead. The reporter describes civilians driving their vehicles through Russian checkpoints as "escaping" – whereas in actuality the Russians are giving them safe passage. And Russia isn't losing – it did not take Kiev because it was never interested in Kiev. Russia announced on day 1 that its operation was intended to (1) demilitarize and "deNazify" Ukraine and (2) to protect ethnically Russian Ukrainians who were being shelled and murdered by Azov. Russia has accomplished those objectives: the Azov Battalion is destroyed, along with most of Ukraine's military, and ethnically Russian Ukrainians resided in the eastern portion of Ukraine which Russia now occupies and owns. Putting troops around Kiev was a feint which tied up Ukrainian forces in the North – allowing Russia to accomplish its mission in the east.
