The US taxpayer gifts the State of Israel around $4 billion per year, every year, as well as rolling no interest loans. Israeli citizens enjoy free healthcare, essentially free education through the graduate college level, old age pensions and retirement insurance, children's allowances, long term care, paid maternity leave, and countless other social welfare programs. Why does Congress subsidize a social safety net for all Israelis that it refuses to subsidize for Americans?

When Kudlow was in the Trump admin they spent 6.55 trillion, fiscal year ended Sept 30 2020. Biden proposes in his next budget to spend 29% less, 5.8 trillion, which is adjusted for inflation 29% less than the spending Kudlow presided over. Trump/Kudlow’s 6.55 trillion, adjusted for inflation of 5.6% in 2020, 7% in 2021, 8% in 2023, is 7.92 trillion 2023 dollars. Biden’s 5.8 trillion 2023 dollars is 29% less. And maybe a better measure would be percent of gdp. By that measure Biden’s spending cut is even bigger.
