Putin claimed the Russian pipelines that go through Ukraine were compromised and 40 million $$ was stolen.
This sparked the investigation into corruption, Paul Manaford was the adviser to the corrupt Ukrainian president at that time and was involved in this theft.
The reason Paul Manaford left Ukraine.
When Russia threatened to invade Ukraine in 2013 or be compensated 40 million.
The Ukrainian people overthrow the Government to find out what happened.

The US has never been dependent on Russia for oil. We import very little from Russia, nor does the war in Ukraine threaten our supply lines. I see no shortages anywhere. The huge increase in fuel prices is ENTIRELY price-gouging. When have the oil companies ever NOT done this? And then, of course, there is market speculation …

There ARE abnormal profits in the staples industries with relatively inelastic demand though, saying different is ignoring the data, specifically vastly increased reported profits. The issue is that the hi price for staples (food, drink, clothing, shelter & energy) from monopolistic price rises above the rate of inflation is crowding out non staples demand & causing a dramatic fall in growth in exactly the same way that spending deficit expansion & resultant hi taxes crashes demand. In many ways tax is a staple good because its inelastically 'demanded' by consumers & the government has total monopoly power to raise prices (of tax) above the rate of inflation. Stop flirting with the Blue (Capitalist) average real wage cruushing policies that let them cruush average real wage by monopolizing staples supply to raise price on inelastic demand, it cruushes your Purple (Noble) average real wage raisers with recession.
H@te to say this but Bidens correct on this cause of falling average real wage, the correct solution is a state competitor in each staples industry that caters directly to those on welfare to reduce social welfare tax & spend on a non profit basis. Mixed economies of this type provide lowest possible cost of living to attract productivity per person improving capital investment that raises average real wage. Being pure free market is as damaging as a command economy to growth, there ARE market failures that must be addressed by the state to maximize growth & when it comes to international competitivity for capital investment maximizing growth is the bare minimum to compete under free trade conditions. Remember the goal is ascension from the wage sl@ve Bl@ck (Nationalist) renter class to the homeowning Red (Populist) class & out the labour pool as Blue (Capitalist) average real wage cruushing supply of staples monopolizers or ideally Purple (Noble) average real wage raising investors in productivity per person improving capital equipment. That requires cruushing the price of staples with state competition as well, no politics just economics.
