Look how they made such a big deal about diesel car emissions, so much so they have essentially been baned from being solid in the usa. They are incredibly efficient and the engines can last many hundreds of thousands of miles, but the government says you cant have them.
Yet they skew everything in favor of the ev which is likely dirtier

The only practical application for a EV in my opinion is urban transportation. Even then in arctic type of climates such as the rust belt across the upper northern states batteries lose up to 40% of their effiency. Additional disadvantages being the unreported fires, short ranges, long recharge times, pollution creating batteries, potential electrocution hazard in an accident and high maintenance costs
