I remember Kudlow reading the declaration of independence and doing these talking points last year around this time as well.
It's so true though. I was at a church activity with a bunch of youths, and they picked the hymn, "God save the king!" instead of "My Country Tis of Thee". Then I was saddened that the type of king described in that hymn was at least a good kind, whatever type of king we have now was still way way worse and something much much worse than an evil king.
I disagree with Mr. Kudlow’s praise of the change from “life, liberty, and property” to “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” Protection of property is more important to the poor who are trying to amass a little property by the sweat of their brows than to the rich who already have more than enough to live comfortably and be confident about the future.
