It's interesting that all of the measures that Kudlow feels are good for the economy also managed to create the greatest wealth imbalance this country has ever seen with the top 10% owning over 80% of US wealth and the top 20% owning over 90%. Why do you think the democrats want to redistribute some of the wealth mostly earned on the backs of everyday Americans. Wealth is often passed on from generation to generation. Being born into the right family shouldn't determine your economic status in life. Remember the saying everyone should be on a level playing field without an advantage. Well that's not the case in this country. Just think about how so many acquired their wealth. It isn't because they worked any harder than less economically fortunate people. They just were in the right place (or family) at the right time.

Trickle down economics has no theoretical or empirical basis. The top 1% have been doing very well. But when we look at median income, in real dollars the median income of American workers is lower today than where it was twenty five years ago.
The US economic system is not working when GDP goes up and a majority of our citizens are not seeing increases in their incomes.
Despite frequent assertions in the financial press and by central banks that lower interest rates will stimulate economic growth and higher interest rates will slow economic growth, there is no empirical evidence for this relationship.
And then the tax cuts for the super wealthy and corporations will trickle down and create more good paying middle class jobs. Just kidding.

Anybody that does not know by now that everything the govt touches, they screw up, is living in lala land there is NOTHING that people making decisions for themselves cannot do better than big government can. That is why our forefathers put huge limits on the federal govt's power. The covid shut down caused all of this. We're going to have to raise taxes cut spending and raise interest rates in order to fix this. If we do everything correctly it will only be horrible for a few years. If we continue kicking the can down the road Rome will fall.
