L.A. officials warn residents of ‘unprecedented weather event’ ahead of Tropical Storm Hilary

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and Fire Chief Kristin Crowley said that three to seven inches of rain is expected to fall as Tropical Storm Hilary approaches the southwestern U.S. Bass and other city officials urged residents to stay home and prepare emergency kits.
