  1. Good news…that's what we need

  2. Stamford will give that Mexican kid a full scholarship plus $50k a year just because of his race.

  3. College should be free. When money stands in the way of bright individuals getting a higher education something is wrong with our country.

  4. That kid said it , right. Dreams are upon your reach ,aim higher. 🎉

  5. Thanks for theses stories. 😢😊

  6. Heartwarming stories. Great luck to all

  7. I'm not crying 😭 your crying! It started with the daughter who donated the kidney cuz I'm not sure my 30yr old would give me a ride to the hospital! 😂 His baby mama would definitely not let do that! 😂

  8. Affirmative Action undermines the legitimate achievements of people like Joshua. He probably was given the scholarship over many more qualified White and Asian applicants.

  9. Josua was being Guided by his father!!👍👍❤❤🙏🙏

  10. Congrats congrats to you. 👍👍🙏🙏 best of wishes 💐💐

  11. That's so amazing the world needs more Engineers

  12. Well, crap. Now you made some kind of weird wet stuff come out of my eyes.

  13. Yes. Let’s celebrate all “minorities” getting, getting, getting. Because we all know white Judd have it so easy. This story is racism at its finest

  14. Congratulations Joshua! I know your father would very proud 👏
God Bless you as you begin a new journey 🙏

  15. "Reaching for something more – there's better out there if you work hard enough." What a remarkable young man, overcoming the odds. Continue to shine bright!

  16. If Joshua’s family wants to claim they need money because of all their hardship, they shouldn’t go on camera with a Prada purse and other luxury items.

  17. So happy for the South Gate High School student. Being a child of immigrants can be exhausting – so many challenges beyond their non-immigrant contemporaries. Moreover, living in a small city like South Gate presents even more challenges. I hope this young man can do well at Stanford. His father would be so proud of his son. And may others in his community follow in his footsteps. 👏👏👏

  18. Joshua so proud of your hard work and keep working for your dream it will pay off. Way to go!!

  19. This was beautiful. We need more good news.

  20. Good God! Can we please stop celebrating invaders and giving them things that our citizens could use?

  21. Wow!! That’s so amazing. You know what it amazing? My daughter, who can see, goes to the University of Munich(ranked around 33 in the world). We pay 160€ ever semester for her fines, metro card and books. America is ridiculous.

  22. Dreams of our Fathers! ..

  23. 5 of the top 5 states with the lowest percentage of adults aged 25 and over who hold a bachelor's or greater degree? The Republican-led states of West Virginia, Mississippi, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Louisiana. 8 of the top 10 states with the highest poverty rate? The Republican-led states of Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, West Virginia, Alabama, Kentucky, South Carolina and Oklahoma. 4 of the top 5 states most dependent on welfare? The Republican-led states of Louisiana, West Virginia, Alabama and Mississippi. 4 of the top 5 states with the highest bankruptcy rate? The Republican-led states of Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi and Tennessee.

  24. I know that amount of money my go fast but it’s definite a great start for such a young man that really deserves it, May god continue to bless your life, continue to make your father proud and set the example for the next generation. Stay Blessed

  25. What about all those kids who competed for the same scholarship and lost? What do you say to them? How do you console them?

“Better luck next time” and “You should have worked harder” are not acceptable. I’m sure they worked as hard as they could.

  26. Joshua is such an awesome and inspiring young man. I know that his dad is with him in spirit. Way to go Joshua!

  27. CONGRATULATIONS BUDDY 👍🏽🙏🏽

  28. As always I pray that all repent directly to God in Jesus mighty name daily, and accept the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ as truth because we can see all the spiritual wickedness slithering around the world today. Let no man (man of sin=satan)decieve you by any means who will appear in Jerusalem as the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet claiming to be Christ, along with his locust army of fallen angels claiming to be the apostles and patriarchs. Those who worship satan until the true Christ returns at the day of the Lord will be cast into outer darkness, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

  29. Praise the Lord for all the scholarship funds available to individuals who truly need the assistance. Especially for Hispanics and other immigrants.

  30. In LA, you won't have to pay for any supplies. You can just take what you need.

  31. After losing my father in October that last clip touched my heart

  32. 🎉🎉🎉 omgoodness! Thank you for this! So beautiful! I love you humanity! ❤❤❤

  33. Which won't even pay for a single year of tuition at tonier private schools like Bennington or Columbia. No wonder Gen Z kids always look so stressed out.

  34. Definitely proud of you Joshua, with our without the degree, your pops loves you from beyond these stars and more.

  35. A minority? Great…. white is a declining population. GLOBALLY. Yet there are no laws protecting us or helping us achieve more. Only white Americans get made fun of for being ignorant. There will be no more White majority countries by 2045. We will no longer have our own country.

  36. My wife passed away few months ago. I've been lonely all this while, I need a companion who I can talk to and pay weekly. Age doesn't matter.

  37. Wow. Imagine if Joshua earned that money, instead of getting it because his race is having a hard time keeping up.
Life is tough. There are millions of us out here, without anybody caring how bad things get. Because our skin is lighter than others. Lots of us have targets on our backs. Why? Because our ancestors did better than other nationalities.
Stanford, huih? Well, Joshua will end up with a free ride, a head full of propaganda and a nice healthy hate for the country that saved him with pity.
Enjoy, Joshua. Make sure you kick the next White Guy u see, for helping this happen. Because, no matter what people wish to believe, it was White Guys who set up the system for Minorities to live large.
Now, run along and burn that flag with your fellow Stanford Students.
Remember… don't say "Founding Fathers", or a thousand other terms your new school has forbidden.
    Disgusting.
