The problem is the current Democrat party has substituted equity for equality – equality, being equal opportunity to pursue a goal, is not the same as equity, being an equal outcome – equity is, in effect, discrimination AGAINST those who are prepared to work to achieve a goal.

Early on, able to fall back on his then suddenly decades long expertise as a " Constitutional Scholar, " from no less than the President of the United States; the HERESY CAME OUT OF THE MOUTH OF OBAMA, taking a pry bar to the unseating of self evident brilliance; attempting thereby the undoing of our most treasured compass of how to govern our fought and died for Republic. At that exact same time, in his coming out to America early in his Presidency; his twists in logic regarding the need to fundamentally change America were soon made specific to his alleged academic prowress as a Constitutional Scholar. A more serious low key bigot has yet to surpass his intentions and passion for taking down all the tenants of our functional system; installing a dysfunctional replacement of rejection of our heritage and beliefs with his personally aberrant racial poison; deftly handed out to everyone; every time he gained an audience. The Supreme Court is proving that getting back to 'The Originalist Ideals' is possible.
This is now the second ruling, (the first being Roe v Wade etc), where a temporary fix has at last been struck down. Since these 'fixes' were always political actions to absolve the politicians from having to promote effective legislation that dealt with the issues, we should now be grateful to SCOTUS.
The fact is that the 'fixes' have been left in place, in contravention of The Constitution, for decades and accepted as the law for far too long. The 'fixes' have muddied the waters and led to generations accepting the positions they have allowed.
In a similar vein it has suited politicians to leave the 'fixes' in place and to then accept these as supportive of their views. Campaigning in favour of 'the fixies' has meant that the temporary nature of them has become accepted as the norm.
When we factor into the equation the fact that a couple of generations have not bothered to try to understand the 'Why & Wherefore' of the issues, it is easy to see how things have gone wrong. These generations…and the politicians….have spent decades bringing more buckets of petrol to the house fire when they should have been bringing buckets of water.
Of course, the Left, the Progressives and the Media will be clutching their pearls over this because it would not have come about had Trump not nominated to fill the three vacancies on The Court.
But hold hard there Pilgrim…!
